To the participants of the General Assembly

Please note that those of you who planned to travel to Vienna by car on Wednesday, 23 May and have to cross the Czech Republic could encounter problems. We have been informed that the Czech agricultural chamber announced a strike by farmers on 23 May from 7h00 to 12h00 which will affect most of the main roads, including motorways throughout the Czech Republic. Farmers will block roads with their tractors and traffic jams are expected even after 12h00.

Even though the weather does not suggest we are approaching May, there is no denying that the year is progressing rapidly. May is typically the month of our General Assembly but also the month of peak milk production in the EU. The current market situation makes it a highly interesting combination this year.
